Company tapped to lead North Topsail Beach dune repairs

NORTH TOPSAIL BEACH, N.C. (WNCT) – The North Topsail Board of Aldermen met on Tuesday and discussed issues with community members.

Assistant Town Manager Carin Faulkner told WNCT the board awarded a contract for dune repairs to ES&J Enterprises and that is worth $112,000.

The project must be complete by the end of March according to the town’s permit. It received it after Hurricane Joaquin.

Faulkner also said the town approved an ad hoc committee of north end property owners to look into what to do when the pond there overflows during flooding.
