Crews working to restore power to River Bend neighborhood

NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) – Duke Energy crews are working to restore power to more than 100 customers in Craven County.

Duke Energy says the outage began just after 11o’clock Tuesday night.

An outage map shows the outage is impacting at least 108 customers just north of the River Bend Gold and Country Club in River Bend.

The River Bend Police Department says a blown transformer appears to be the cause of the outage.

Duke Energy estimates power will be restored by 9a.m.
