Craven Co. Sheriff’s Office looking for runaway teen

NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) – The Craven County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a runaway teen.

The Sheriff’s Office says they are looking for 17-year-old Sarah Carawon.

Deputies say Carawon’s last known location was near Bear Hole Road in Vanceboro on Dec. 26th. She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a light colored shirt, and black boots.


The Sheriff’s Office says Carawon has ties to Belhaven and may be attempting to make her way to the Beaufort County town.

Anyone with information on here location is asked to contact the Craven County Sheriff’s Office at (252) 636-6620.
