City of New Bern looking for input on land use ordinances

NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) – The City of New Bern is proposing several updates to its current Land Use Ordinance and is looking  for input from the community.

Land use ordinances address many things including what can go where in cities, parking required for businesses, and even allowing food trucks in the downtown area.

The proposed changes include several items including food trucks, personal outdoor storage, and single-family residences.

The city is now asking for public input on the proposed draft ordinance edits. You can read the full list of ordinances and give comments and suggestions by clicking here.
