Former Pirate Justin Hardy returns to N.C. as Falcons played Panthers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WNCT) – On Sunday, former ECU wide receiver Justin Hardy returned to the Tar Heel State as his Atlanta Falcons met the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte.

The Vanceboro, N.C. native played at West Craven high school before walking-on at East Carolina.

Hardy worked his way up from the scout team to become the all-time receptions leader in NCAA football history.

He finished with just one catch Sunday for 9 yards.

The Falcons lost 38-0 as the Panthers advanced to 13-0 on the season.
