Jacksonville mother arrested in Richlands home invasion

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Deputies say they’ve arrested a second suspect in a Richlands home invasion.

It happened at a residence on Comfort Road back in the early morning hours of June 14th.

39-year-old Ruby May Dillahunt of Jacksonville was arrested Monday after investigators determined she was the alleged driver of the vehicle used  during the robbery. Her son, Xavier Dillahunt was previously arrested for his part in the home invasion.

She’s charged with Felony Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Felony First Degree Burglary, Felony Larceny After Breaking and Entering, Felony Possession of Stolen Property, Felony First Degree Kidnapping, Felony Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Misdemeanor Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Misdemeanor Assault by Pointing a Gun, and Misdemeanor Assault on a Female.

She’s in the Onslow County Detention Center under a $350,000 secured bond.
