Area coaches convene in Raleigh for State Championship Press Conference

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCT) – Five area football coaching staffs were honored in Raleigh at the annual NCHSAA State Championship press conference.

The morning featured breakfast followed by the introduction of all state finalists and culminated with comments by Que Tucker, NCHSAA Commissioner, and Rick Strunk, the Associate Commissioner.

David Wojtecki (J.H. Rose), Jason Battle (Rocky Mount), Ryan Gieselman (Kinston), Joey Price (Wallace-Rose Hill), and Robert Cody (Plymouth) all received recognition from the NCHSAA for advancing to this weekend’s state championships.
