ECU holds annual Holiday Exhibition and Sale

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – The Art and Design Department at ECU held a holiday show to help pay for extracurricular activities.

The annual show gives the public a chance to look at the artwork students have created. 10 percent of the proceeds are donated back to ECU. Lee Hodges says his program pays for professional graphic designers to come into the classroom.

“We pay them through the DA so some of this holiday sales goes towards visiting artists to show graphic designers what it’s like to be in the field and to give them that example,” Hodges said.

Other student’s proceeds go to help raise money for a national conference in Asheville.
