ECU’s Health Sciences campus gives input on chancellor search

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT)- The search for East Carolina’s next chancellor continues and on Wednesday the health sciences campus got a chance to chime in on expectations of the school’s next leader.

A key talking point during the forum was communication. Several people attending the meeting said they want better communication and collaboration between the health science and main campus.

Chris Duffrin, Associate Professor of Family Medicine said, ” So many students that come here for graduate programs in the health sciences are coming from the other campus. I think that there is lots of natural collaboration that could occur. Sometimes in our business in our day to day lives those connections seem to disappear.”

Anyone interested in sharing their opinions on their expectations of the next chancellor can visit ECU’s chancellor search website.
