Havelock man killed in Saturday afternoon crash

HAVELOCK,  N.C. (WNCT) – State Highway Patrol troopers have identified a man killed in a Saturday afternoon crash.

42-year-old William David Temple of Havelock was killed when the 1992 C-3500 Chevrolet pickup truck he was operating on Temples Point Road near SR 1762  ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a driveway culvert, and overturned onto its right side. Troopers say he was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
