Police looking for missing Emerald Isle, Cape Carteret runaways

EMERALD ISLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Police in Emerald Isle and Cape Carteret are looking for two juveniles that are believed to be together.

They’re searching for 17-year-old Troy Zane Copley and 14-year-old Rayne Elizabeth Mitchell.

The two are believed to be traveling in a gray, 4-door 2012 Honda Civic, NC registration DDA3049 and headed to California.

Both police departments are working together to bring the two home. Troy was last seen at his home in Emerald Isle around 10:15 on Friday and Rayne was last seen at her home in Cape Carteret around 11, also on Friday.
