Bayboro man charged in 2014 Pamlico Co. home invasion, robbery

BAYBORO, N.C. (WNCT) – The second suspect in a violent home invasion appeared in court Friday morning after deputies arrested him nearly a year after the crime.

25-year-old Joshua Chapman faces burglary and robbery charges.

Deputies say he was involved in the December 2014 targeted home invasion in Reelsboro. That’s when someone in the house and another suspect, Brian Webb, were shot.

Deputies already arrested Webb and are still looking for suspect William Wilson.

Chapman remains booked in the Pamlico County Detention Center.

Just ten days after the home invasion, New Bern Police say a man attempted to murder Chapman in a shooting in Trent Court.
