GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT)- Greenville hosted the 5th annual BMX Fest Saturday in uptown. Greenville, also known as BMX pro-town USA, is nationally recognized as one of the top BMX cities in the country. Though the craze has dropped off in the last few years so much so that there’s been a “BM-eXodus” some of the top riders who once called Greenville home are moving away to places like Raleigh, Charlotte, and California. Luckily, we saw a younger generation Saturday at the BMX fest continuing the tradition and BMX legend, Dave Mirra, said he’s excited to see where these young riders take the sport.
