GPD investigating armed robbery off Charles Blvd.

GREENVILLE, N.C (WNCT) – The Greenville Police Department is investigating an armed robbery off Charles Boulevard, near 14th Street.

It happened overnight around 2:07 a.m. Thursday.

Greenville Police say the three victims in the incident were walking on Charles Blvd headed towards 14th Street when two black males confronted them; one of them armed with a gun. The victims told police the male with the gun was about 6′ 01″, 230lbs, heavy set, medium dreads, thin beard, and wearing all black. The second suspect was described to be 5′ 09″, 180lbs, average built, short cut, no facial hair, and also wearing all black. One of the victims gave the suspects his cell phone before they fled the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
