2 arrested in Richlands for manufacturing meth

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Deputies in Onslow County say they’ve arrested two people for manufacturing methamphetamine.

33-year-old Jarred Louis Mackey and 21-year-old Brittany Alyce Derosier were arrested Monday when outstanding warrants were served on Mackey. They’ve both been charged with (2) Felony Counts Trafficking Methamphetamine, (1) Felony Count Manufacturing Methamphetamine, (1) Felony Count Conspire Methamphetamine, (3) Felony Counts of Possession of Chemical Precursors for Methamphetamine, (1) Misdemeanor Count of Possession of Drug paraphernalia, not for Marijuana and (1) Misdemeanor Count of Maintaining a Dwelling.

Mackey’s bond was set at $150,000 secured and Derosier’s bond was set at $225,000 secured. Derosier’s bond was higher because she already had a previous narcotics violation.

Both were placed in the Onslow County Detention Center.
