GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Cities all across the country are honoring service men and women this Veterans Day, including throughout the east.

At Arlington National Cemetery, President Obama laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns paying tribute to veterans and their families.

“Whether you served proudly in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard, you are part of an unbroken chain of patriots who have served this country with honor through the life of our nation,” President Barack Obama commented.

In Greenville, the Pitt County Veterans Council held its annual Veterans Day parade and ceremony Wednesday morning, as caught through the lens of WNCT 9 On Your Side photojournalist Jarrod Shultz. Click the attached video to watch now.
