FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — The football fan who lost his Green Bay Packers banner to Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton last weekend has gotten a new banner – and says he may get another one.

The Fayetteville Observer reports (http://bit.ly/1lks5RG) Mike Dobs collected his new banner on Tuesday at a UPS store.

In addition, Dobs said a Panthers executive told him the organization will replace the original banner that Newton grabbed out of the Dobs family’s hands at last Sunday’s game between the Panthers and the Packers.

Newton told reporters that he took the banner because he thought it was wrong and disrespectful to have an opposing team’s banner at Bank of America Stadium.

Steve Milburn, who owns the UPS store, was among several stores who offered to make the sign for free.
