Greene Central Rams fundraising for sheering stand

SNOW HILL, N.C. (WNCT) – The Greene Central High School Rams Pat and Charlie are in need of a haircut and need a new spot to do it. Ms. Kennedy’s Agriculture Class is fundraising to purchase a new grooming stand for the living mascots. The goal is $774 for the sheering stand for the rams to help the students groom the animals before events and games, where they are a staple.

The new stand will allow students to have access to even more lessons with the animals at Greene Central. Currently, GCHS is the only high school in the state with live mascots that reside on campus.
