No injuries in Onslow Co. school bus wreck with 36 aboard

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – There are no injuries after an Onslow County school bus wreck.

Onslow County Schools spokeswoman Suzie Ulbrich says it happened around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Ulbrich says Bus #381 from Hunters Creek Middle School was involved in a wreck with 36 students aboard. Highway Patrol is on the scene.

Students will stay on the bus until troopers release them, so they will be late getting home.

The school is being notified will be contacting parents.

Ulbrich says a utility truck rolled into the bus.
