Hubert man recovering at burn center after meth lab explosion

HUBERT, N.C. (WNCT) – A man is at a burn center after a meth lab explosion in Onslow County.

Sheriff Hans Miller tells WNCT 9 On Your Side that 30-year-old William Tracy Allen was in a Hubert shed and started cooking meth on Tuesday night when the shed exploded.

Allen is currently at the Jaycee Burn Center at UNC.

The sheriff’s office is investigating the lab and charges are pending.
