GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – River Park North now has an accessible playground to foster children’s imagination.
The city received four grants to have a playground that moves from one location to the next. Parks Coordinator, Christopher Horrigan says it also helps kids learn problem solving and teamwork.
“Play is incredibility important to a kid’s development. It fosters self-reliance, self-advocacy skills, physical activity and healthy bodies and healthy minds,” said Horrigan.
Horrigan says the imagination playground will move all around Greenville in the next few months.
