Two charged in multi-county storage unit break-ins

JACKSONVILLE, N.C.(WNCT) – Two men are charged in connection with a string of break-ins to storage units in Duplin, Jones, Onslow and Pender Counties.

The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Gary Dean Brinson, 31, on October, 31. Brinson is charged with 6 Counts Felony Possession of Stolen Goods, 4 Counts Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Goods and 2 Counts Felony Possession of Stolen Firearm. He was booked into the Onslow County Detention Center under a $37,000 secured bond.

Gary Brinson’s arrest follows the arrest of David Allen Brinson, 32, in connection to the same break-ins. David Brinson was arrested on October 28, and charged with 4 Counts Felony Possession of Stolen Goods, 4 Counts Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Goods and Felony Possession of Stolen Firearm. He was booked into the Onslow County Detention Center under a $30,000 unsecured bond.
