GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – A new organization in Greenville held its first spooking Halloween science event Saturday.
GO-Science just opened this month on Dickinson Avenue. It’s learning center and museum that caters to kids interests. Kids learned more about science and how static works. Mom of three, Raquel Begelman says it’s important to get kids socialized with other children and teach them STEM.
“It’s part of their life. They’re everyday life. From measuring in the kitchen to weighing themselves on the scale, to learning how a blister occurred on your finger and how your body heals from that. It’s a great program for our children to participate in,” explained Begelman.
The next event for GO-Science is the day after Thanksgiving. For more information, click here.
