Wanted: Pamlico Co. deputies seeking robbery, home invasion suspect

BAYBORO, N.C. (WNCT) – Deputies in Pamlico County are reaching out to the public to locate a robbery and home invasion suspect.

They’re looking for 25-year-old William D. Wilson of Vanceboro. He’s considered armed and dangerous.

He’s wanted by the Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office for one count of First Degree Burglary and one count of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. He’s one one of four suspects that were involved in a December 2014 home invasion that occurred on Lee Landing Road in Reelsboro. During that home invasion, one of the occupants inside of the residence and one of the intruders were shot. Brian Webb has already been arrested and charged with his involvement in the home invasion.

Sheriff Chris Davis tells WNCT 9 On Your Side through the past several weeks, new interviews led them to identify Wilson. The other two suspects have been identified, but they’ve not been charged yet. However, that’s expected soon.

Davis says it’s believed the incident was drug-related and targeted.

If you have any information that could help locate Wilson, please call the Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office or your local law enforcement agency.
