No one injured in mobile home fire in Grifton

GRIFTON, N.C. (WNCT)- A mobile home is completely gone after a fire Friday evening.

Assistant Chief Thomas Edwards with the Hugo Fire Department tells 9 On Your Side that a call came in earlier in the evening.

It happened on Tucker Road in Grifton. He says no one was injured.

Hugo Fire Chief Johnny Craft says the mobile home was abandoned. He says two vehicles was damaged during the fire.

Both Hugo and Grifton Fire and EMS responded to the scene.

Investigations are turned over to Grifton and Lenoir County Emergency Management.
