Deputies: 7 face meth charges in Pamlico County

REELSBORO, N.C. (WNCT) – The Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office and the State Bureau of Investigations arrest seven for manufacturing methamphetamine.

After receiving several citizen complaints, deputies and SBI agents began a month-long investigation in to a home on the 100 block of Longleaf Drive in Reelsboro.

During a search of the home investigators found items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

The investigation led to the arrests of 31-year-old Todd Powers, 28-year-old Amanda Williams, 34-year-old Tonya Griffin, and 39-year-old Clifton Armstrong Jr. All four suspects face multiple charges including Possession of Meth Pre Cursors and maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substances.

All four suspects were taken to the Pamlico County Jail and given a $10,000 bond.

Deputies say three other suspects were also identified in the investigation. Twenty-seven–year-old Amanda Potter, 28-year-old Michael Hall, and 40-year-old Phillip Pipkin Jr. were also arrested and face multiple charges including Possession with Intent to Sale or Deliver Methamphetamine and Heroin.

The SBI is scheduled to return to Reelsboro to complete their clean up at the home on Longleaf Drive on Thursday.
