Kinston welcomes back Community Services Center

KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) – Kinston welcomes back an Adventist Community Services Center.

The center closed 10 years ago because there weren’t enough people to run it, but volunteers are changing that. The facility will serve individuals in Lenoir County that can’t afford clothing and other necessities.

Director of Adventist Community Services, Marion Ezell, says they plan to grow the center in the upcoming years. She hopes it will help those in need.

“A lot of times people don’t have the wealth to buy the things they need so they can come here and get it and we carry name brand things also.”

The center will officially open Wednesday at 1 pm. If you are interested in donating, drop your unwanted belongings off at 1905 Old Snow Hill Road in Kinston.
