GREENVILLE, NC (WNCT)- The Golden Corral in Greenville was awarded Saturday for its efforts to support disabled veterans.
Disabled American Veterans presented a plaque to the restaurant for raising over $53,000 for children of disabled veterans and fallen soldiers.
The restaurant, chapter 37 of Golden Corral, not only raised the most out of all the chapters in the state of North Carolina, but also raised the most money out of all the Golden Corral locations in the country.
Chapter 37 was also able to send 92 kids to Camp Corral, a summer camp for children for fallen and disabled military service members.
The chapter has been the number one location to raise the most money for four out of the last five years.
