TARBORO, N.C. (WNCT) – One of the men charged in the 2012 triple-murder case in Farmville pleaded guilty on Friday to his involvement in a double murder case.
The Edgecombe County Clerk’s Office told WNCT that Willie Whitehead entered a guilty plea to two counts of Accessory After the Fact to 2nd Degree Murder. It is for the murders of 33-year-old Quantellis Carr and 31-year-old Jasmine Chesson.
Princeville Police say the two were murdered inside their home in Princeville in 2012.
Superior Court Judge Walter H. Godwin sentenced Whitehead to serve between 87 and 117 months in prison with the North Carolina Department of Corrections.
Whitehead is expected to face trial later this year for his role in the Farmville Hustle Mart murders.
