East 8th Street road improvements taking place Wednesday

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Repairs and upgrades to East 8th Street in Greenville are prompting a traffic advisory for Wednesday, October 21st.

The City of Greenville and Greenville Utilities Commission (GUC) will be working on repairs and upgrades to East 8th Street between Evans Street and Cotanche Street.

During the work, sections of East 8th Street will be closed to traffic and parking. That means that all vehicles that are parked within that section of East 8th Street will need to be relocated by 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.  Any vehicles that remain will be subject to towing at the owners expense.

The city says it regrets the inconvenience, but appreciates citizen’s patience as it works to upgrade roads and infrastructure.
