FEMA to continue assessment of storm damage in North Topsail Beach

NORTH TOPSAIL BEACH (WNCT) – The Federal Emergency Management Agency returns to North Topsail Beach on Monday.

FEMA is scheduled to finish its assessment of storm damage from the heavy rain and flooding that hit eastern North Carolina in early October.

A preliminary assessment estimates the town suffered more than $15-million worth of damage.
