Two men apprehended in connection with storage unit break-ins

ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT)- Two men have been charged in connection to a string of break-ins to storage units throughout three counties.

Onslow County detectives, in conjunction with Duplin and Jones Counties, were investigating a subject for possession of stolen property from a storage units. While conducting surveillance, authorities observed David Allen Brinson and Michael Wayne Sanderson Junior breaking into a mini storage unit off Rocky Run Road.

Detectives followed Brinson and Sanderson and arrested them after the business owner confirmed the break-in. Both stolen items and burglary tools were found in their possession at the time of the arrest.

Brinson and Sanderson had their bonds set at $60,000 and $30,000, respectively.
