Silver Alert now issued for missing Jacksonville teen

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered teen.

Jacksonville Police reached out to the public Monday for help locating 18-year-old Dominic Francis Tumminello. He was reported missing from his home in the Commons area on October 8th. He was last seen the evening before around 7 p.m.

At the time of his departure, he was traveling on foot in an unknown direction. He told others that he was headed to the WalMart on Marine Boulevard. He never returned home.

Tumminello is about, 5’4″ tall and 120 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. The last time he was seen, Tumminello was wearing a black and white plaid shirt and blue jeans.  He may be carrying some type of duffle bag.  He’s known to frequent the area of the Jacksonville Mall. Tumminello might aslo be in need of his medication.
