RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCT)- A former North Carolina legislator may take the next steps toward running for U.S. Senate in 2016 and attempting to unseat Republican Richard Burr.
Democrat Deborah Ross says she’s putting together a team, presumably for a campaign. She says a lot of people are encouraging her to run.
Ross served in the House of Representatives for 10 years before leaving in 2013 to become a transit authority attorney. She left that job, in part, to consider a bid.
