Evans Street back open after flooding closure

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Heavy rain closed part of Evans Street in Greenville early Thursday morning.

It was re-opened by 7:30 a.m.

Greenville Police tell 9 On Your Side the part of the road with flooding was on Evans Street between Clifton and Arthur Streets.

Police were blocked off the road around of 3:00 Thursday morning and Greenville Public Works put up a blockade on a part of the road until the water receded.
