GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – According to the National Retail Federation, Americans spent over 68 billion dollars this year alone on back to school necessities. Learning new ways to save money is nothing new, especially for college students – which is why student-specific discounts are becoming more readily available.
“We created the student discount card which is an initiative that focuses on saving students money and more importantly, helping promote the local businesses of Greenville and help stimulate the local economy,” said Mark Matulewicz, ECU Student Body President.
At ECU, a student discount card can get you anywhere from 10 percent off to “buy one get one free” appetizers various locations around Greenville.
But for students who don’t go to school in ENC, know there are nation wide savings for students.
