Law enforcement training held at South Lenoir High School

DEEP RUN, N.C. (WNCT)- Local law enforcement as well as Lenoir County school leaders are participating in safety training on Friday.

The training takes place at South Lenoir High School from 8:30a.m. – 12:30p.m.

Lenoir County Pubic Schools says people traveling in the area may notice a large number of police cars.  This is just for the training, there is no emergency.

Students will not be in school Friday during the training.
