GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – The 96th annual Pitt County Agricultural Fair begins Tuesday.
Fair organizers said there is something for everyone to enjoy, from games and rides, to live entertainment.
Phyllis Ross, a fair executive, said Sheriff deputies will be on hand to ensure safety at all times. Ross encouraged people to come out and have fun.
“They should expect a very good fair. Like I said, it’s family oriented. It’s fun. It’s for everybody,” she said.
Admission to the fair is $6 with proceeds going to help fund future fairs, Pitt Community College and other charities in the community.
Organizers expect about 50,000 people to attend.
