Gov. McCrory says he’ll sign budget deal

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCT) – Governor Pat McCrory says he’ll sign a $21.7 billion dollar state spending plan when it reaches his desk.

The budget moved on to the House Thursday after it cleared the Senate 37 to 13.

The House is expected to vote late Thursday evening into early Friday when the current, third temporary budget is set to expire.

Governor McCrory must approve any budget before it is signed into law.
