Victim identified late night Rocky Mount homicide

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WNCT) – The Rocky Mount Police Department is investigating a late night homicide.

Investigators tell 9 On Your Side it happened on Chester Street near Pearl Street. Officers were called to the area just before midnight in reference to a shots fired call.

When officers arrived they found 35-year-old Antonio Bullock shot in a parked car. Police say Bullock died at the scene. The driver of the car was not injured.

Witnesses say the shots were possibly fired from a small light colored car.

The incident is under investigation.
