Additional charges announced for Jacksonville man accused of child sex offenses

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT)-  Deputies announced Friday additional charges against a man already charged with sexual offenses involving a minor.

32-year-old Eric Thorne Feldmeier was arrested Tuesday and charged with seven counts of statutory sexual offense with a child, seven counts of felony child abuse, and seven counts of indecent liberties with a child.

Major Christopher Thomas says the stem from multiple crimes involving one victim. He says they happened from when that victim was 4 years old to a preteen.

After the arrest, an additional victim was identified and reported they had also been sexually molested by Feldmeier. On Thursday, deputies was arrested on the following additional charges of 3 Counts of Statutory Sexual Offense with a Child and 3 Counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child.

Feldmeier was given an additional $300,000 bond, making his total bond $1 million, secured. He’s in the Onslow County Detention Center awaiting arraignment.
