Business Park in Martin County receives almost $1 million dollar grant

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT)- Martin County’s Regional Business Park in Everetts is receiving a  $926,675 grant from The North Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority.

The money will be used for a 25-foot wide roadway, water, and sewer extensions to the current end of the road.  Without the improvements, there could would only one remaining lot to be able to build on.  The County is not required to provide a match for this grant.
Martin County Manager David Bone said, “We are proud of the positive economic developments occurring in Martin County and appreciate the State’s investment in the business park to help attract jobs and investment to our community.”
