NC Commerce Secretary attending groundbreaking in Eastern NC

EMERALD ISLE, N.C. (WNCT) – The North Carolina Secretary of Commerce is heading to Eastern North Carolina on Monday as part of a groundbreaking ceremony.

“Transportation Impact”, which helps negotiate shipping services for companies, is hosting the ceremony at 11 a.m. The new facility is located at 8921 Crew Drive in Emerald Isle. Officials with the company say the property will have space for offices, residences and a restaurant. The facility is expected to be completed by 2016.

Secretary John Skvarla will be joined by other state and local officials at the ceremony.
