Suspect identified in Onslow Co. parking lot shooting

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Deputies in Onslow County are looking for a man accused of shooting a man in the parking lot of a convenience store.

It happened August 8th just before 5 a.m. at the Handy Mart near Hwy 258/24 and Rhodestown Road.

Investigators say Prince Hatchell was shot while seated in a vehicle in front of the store. He was taken to Onslow Memorial Hospital by two others and suffered non-life threatening injuries from a single gunshot wound. He was later transferred to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville and later released.

Deputies are looking for 38-year-old Raymond Abdul Toudle for shooting Hatchell.
