Georgia captures its first title at the Tournament of State Champions in Greenville

GREENVILLE, N.C. – On Wednesday, Georgia rallied from a 5-run deficit to capture its first Tournament of State Champions title.

Norther Little League of Columbus, Ga. won the TOSC championship 15-5 in five innings at Elm Street Park in Greenville.

Virginia (Vienna, Va.) jumped out to a 5-0 lead, but Georgia tallied six runs in the third and fifth innings.

Myers Park, the state champion out of North Carolina, went 1-2 during the five-day tournament.

The Tournament of State Champions has become a staple during Greenville summers, featuring some of the best little league baseball talent in the region.
