Stop Summer Hunger hits goal of 3.2M meals

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Nearly 300,000 children across the east, who rely on free and reduced meals at school, didn’t go without this summer.

The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina reached their goal of 3.2 million meals.

Those kids are getting daily, nutritious meals this summer due to the donations.

Pitt, Craven, and Lenoir counties are just a few of the counties participating.
