Pamlico Co. man arrested after agents discover meth lab

BAYBORO, N.C. (WNCT) – A meth lab in Pamlico County was busted following a three month long investigation, according to Sheriff Chris Davis.

Deputies and SBI Agents executed a search warrant at 373 Hidden Lane in Merritt, NC on Tuesday. Investigators say they found meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the house belonging to Gary Miller, 53.

Authorities also found an active meth lab on the back porch and called in agents from the SBI Clandestine lab to dismantle it.

Miller has now been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He will head to court on Friday.
