Greenville Fire and Rescue hiring

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Greenville Fire and Rescue are adding employees to their team.

They hosted a career fair today to give information on open positions. Pitt Community College was present to show candidates the kind of testing involved.

Chief Eric Griffin says they currently have seven jobs they are looking to fill. He says more positions will be available come fall due to people retiring.

“We look for people who are honest, dependable, and are hard working. They also have to be compassionate. One of the keys we find is when we find people who want to work here that understand the community and want to help the community, we love to have them a part of our team,” said Chief Eric Griffin
