Catholic Charities opens new Greenville office

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Catholic Charities has a new office in Greenville, doubling its space.

Raleigh bishop Micheal Burbidge visited to officially bless the center now located on Dickenson Ave in the building next to the state lottery.

You don’t have to be Catholic to get help from Catholic Charities. They maintain a clothes closet and also offer counciling when needed.

Later Wednesday night, Bishop Burbidge has another stop in Greenville. Just down the street, he is installing Father Romen Acero as the new pastor at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church.
