North Carolina senator speaks out in Obamacare probe

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT)- The Senate Finance Committee heard testimony today regarding the probe into

The Government Accountability Office made up 12 identities last summer, 11 of which signed up for coverage under Obamacare.

The 11 fictitious enrollees kept their plans and nearly $2,500 in monthly subsidies.

Their coverage was automatically extended for 2015.

During today’s hearing, Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) was very vocal.

“Let me just say to my colleagues here. This is my takeaway here: not only do we have policy deficiencies here, but we certainly have indications of incompetence or intent to ignore the law,” said Burr.

Burr has already introduced his own version of Obamacare, which he hopes will gain traction.
